DESCRIPTION:A series of graded mile races held on the legendary track on which Roger Bannister set the first sub-4 minute mile\, running 3:59.4 in 1954. The event will involve paced\, seeded races\, with an Elite invitational race in which the field will be expected to run under 4:00 for men and 4:36 for women. Aside from the A-races\, the Iffley Festival of Miles will be a great place for many to set PBs in the rarely contested mile distance\, under the control of experienced pacers. \nAn official 1500m will be taken and published to Power of 10 within the mile races. This event will hold a UKA level 1 license\, and results will be published on OpenTrack.

The race leads runners out of the estate along quiet roads\, up The Mount (and along a short section of gravel track) for you to enjoy the views\, before coming back into the Loseley estate.
