Milton Keynes 5000

Last month Milton Keynes once again played host to a great evening of 5000m racing, incorporating the English National Championships and there were a few Guildford & Godalming runners on hand to test themselves over 12.5 laps of the track.

In race number 9, George Dollner delivered another PB this year, taking 3 seconds off his (road) PB set in February at Armagh to dip under 15 minutes again, clocking 14:55 for 9th place.

Our  U13 Girl's 4 x 100m relay Team ran at the Club Connect, Anniversary Muller Games, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday, July 21st, 2019.

They had been invited to run, as they were in the top 9 fastest clubs in the SE. The girls, Jessica Howells, Elin Roberts, Emily Hawthorn and Arabella Wilson ran into 4th place but broke the club record with an amazing 52.87. It was an amazing experience for them all.
