We are accepting new membership applications now, but we still have quite long waiting lists in the Junior age groups. Please complete the forms below if you are interested.

We welcome all athletic abilities and age groups from school year 6, (age 10) to all ages upwards.

Senior Athletes

Whether you are an elite athlete or just new to athletics, looking to meet and train with other athletes then, you are more than welcome to join us.

We welcome all new senior athletes of all ages and abilities. The only expectation however, is that if you train with our club, we would expect to see you representing the club in the leagues we actively compete in each year, be it on the track, road or through the cross country mud.

Junior Athletes

We take children onto our Pre-Waiting list from Sept 1st, when they reach school year 5, with a view to them being offered a place in our club from the Spring of their school year 6, depending on numbers in our current training groups and numbers on the current waiting list.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR A SCHOOL YEAR 5 CHILD TO GO ONTO OUR LIST UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1st.

Due to the popularity of the Club, we have waiting lists in most of our Junior age groups. If you require further information regarding the Club or would like your child to be added to the relevant waiting list, please complete the application form. Please make it clear which school year your child is currently in when applying.

You should receive an e mail in response to your application, confirming that your child’s name is now on the waiting list. If you do not receive a response within 14 days please email your query to our Membership Secretary at membershipggac(at)gmail.com replacing (at) with @.

You should update our Membership Secretary if your circumstances or contact details change in any way. We would like to keep our information up to date so that we can contact you when there is a place.

PARENTS ONLY CAN APPLY ON BEHALF OF THEIR CHILDREN. WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS DIRECTLY FROM CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

Privacy Statement

GUILDFORD & GODALMING ATHLETICS CLUB (GGAC) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. For any personal data you provide for the purposes of your club application, GGAC is the Data Controller and is responsible for storing and otherwise processing that data in a fair, lawful, secure and transparent way.

What personal data we hold on you
You may give us information about you by filling in forms for an event or online, or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you register with the Club. The information you give us may include your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, phone numbers, and other relevant information concerning your club application.

Why we need your personal data
The reason we need your Data is to be able to administer your application to the club. When we offer you club membership you will be asked to complete another form. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is that we need to be able to manage and administrate our Waiting List.

I agree to the Club collecting, storing and processing my data in line with the Privacy Statement above. As a data subject you are not obliged to share your personal data with the Club. If you choose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to administer your application. I also agree to continue to receive e mails from the club.
